Iran actor offers condolence over tanker tragedy

Iranian actor Majid Mozaffari has offered condolence over oil tanker crew death by visiting the bereaved families of the victims.

Majid Mozaffari, who starred in ‘The Battle of the Oil Tankers’ in 1993, paid a visit to the families of the sailors of the Iranian oil tanker sunk at the East China Sea.

Majid Mozaffari is an Iranian actor who has starred in movies with sea locations. He was deeply affected by the Iranian oil tanker incident and pioneered sending condolence message to the families of the vessel’s crew.

The Sanchi Iranian oil tanker, carrying 136,000 tonnes of condensate from Iran to South Korea, caught fire on January 6 after it collided with the CF Crystal, a Hong Kong-registered bulk freighter, about 160 nautical miles (184 km) off China's coast near Shanghai.
